ARE YOU READY TO RUUUUMMBBLLEE!!?? Get ready everybody because the UFC is back this weekend. On Saturday, UFC 252 will feature the third and final fight between heavyweights, Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier. The current titleholder, Miocic, is 19-3 in MMA and 13-3 in the UFC. Cormier, the former two-division titleholder is 22-2 in the MMA and 11-2 in the UFC. This fight is gonna be huuuge, and I'm not just saying that because they're both heavyweights. Whoever wins this fight will have bragging rights on winning the trilogy and hold the title as the greatest heavyweight of all time.
These two beasts first fought each other two years ago at UFC 226 in Las Vegas. With Cormier taking the victory, he became the only fighter not named Connor McGregor to be a champion in two different divisions at the same time. Cormier won by KO in round one.
A rematch took place a year later at UFC 241 in Anaheim. This fight was pretty much the opposite of the first. Miocic ended up winning by TKO in the fourth round. Now, Miocic has the title and we'll see if he holds on to it. It's gonna be a great fight either way. Tune in on ESPN and ESPN+ to watch!
