The Brawl In Oakland

This past Sunday at the Oakland Coliseum, things got heated to say the least between the A's and the Astros. A's centerfielder, Ramon Laureano, was plunked with a slider by Astros pitcher, Humberto Castellanos in the bottom of the 7th of the third game of the series. Up to that point, Laureano had already been by a pitch in the same game by the same pitcher. Overall, Laureano was hit by a pitch 3 goddamn times in the series! Twice by the same dude! Humberto's not some yahoo either, Laureano was actually traded to the A's in 2017 from the Astros to get Humberto!

After Laureano got hit for the 3rd time, Laureano made his way to first base while sarcastically telling Humberto that he's gotta snap his wrist on his slider. Guys, go check out the video it's hilarious. Laureano's saying, "dude try snapping your wrist so it doesn't go straight, it's going too straight". Haha I love it. But that wasn't all that happened, as Laureano got to first base, the Astros bench started jawing at him. Specifically, the Astros hitting coach, Alex Cintron. Are you kidding me!? The damn hitting coach is chirping!? C'mon man...why are you even chirping when your whole team fuckin' cheated to win a world series!

Anyway, I guess Cintron said something super insulting about Laureano's mom and that was it. Laureano started sprinting at him and that's when the benches cleared. Laureano never got to Cintron unfortunately and was wrapped up by other members of the Astros. They scuffled for a few minutes but no punches were thrown just a lot of pushing, shoving, and grabbing by both teams. Laureano and Cintron are expected to get heavy suspensions becasue the MLB does not want teams brawling due to these COVID-19 times.

Personally, I'm on the A's side here. Being in the same division, and knowing that the Astros have cheated, we realize that the Astros probably screwed the A's out of some division titles. The A's have done what other teams have wanted to due as well. The Trashstros deserve what's coming to them.
